Double basses vary in shape depending on their country of origin and age, making it extremely difficult to find a commercially available case that perfectly fits the instrument. We have heard many frustrated musicians who couldn't find a case that fit their beloved instrument.
To address these concerns, we have expanded our workshop and enhanced our repair services. A key feature of our new workshop is the permanent installation of a sewing machine, allowing for immediate fine adjustments to cases.
"It's like hemming a pair of pants," I often say. With meticulous handiwork, we tailor your existing case to fit your instrument's body perfectly, making it feel like a custom-made piece.
I also wanted to create a "relaxing space" where everyone could feel comfortable dropping by.
My aim is to create an environment where you can watch me work while enjoying a coffee, and feel free to discuss your case needs.
I believe that by speaking with us directly, even about simple questions you might normally hesitate to ask, you can feel confident and at ease entrusting your instrument to us.
"Why not stop by for a coffee and a chat?"
With that sentiment, I look forward to interacting with all of you. As a workshop where direct dialogue is possible, we will continue to support cherished instruments and musicians.
